Parmesan Chicken Wingettes & Drummettes
Coated with a mixture of Parmesan, garlic, and oregano, then baked, these easy appetizers are a taste bud treat.
1 cup (4 ounces) grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup butter
3 pounds (35 to 40) Gold'n Plump® Chicken Wingettes & Drummettes
Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a jelly-roll pan (15”x10”x1”) with cooking spray.
Combine Parmesan, garlic, oregano, and pepper in a shallow, flat dish.
Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. (If you prefer, melt in a large measuring cup in microwave on high for about 45 seconds.)
Dip wingettes/drummettes in melted butter, then roll in Parmesan mixture. Place chicken in a single layer on prepared pan.
Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until browned and thoroughly cooked.
2 teaspoons jarred minced garlic may be substituted for freshly minced garlic.
Commercially packaged, grated Parmesan may also be substituted for freshly grated but it is less flavorful and more salty.
Nutritional information may change when substituting your chicken product. If you choose to substitute frozen chicken for this recipe, it's best to thaw before cooking.
