Honey Glazed Chicken Thighs
Honey, carrots, celery, onion, sage, and mustard make this a simply delicious, comforting chicken dish.
1 tablespoon butter
4 to 6 (20 ounces) Gold'n Plump® Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
4 carrots, cut into 3/4-inch chunks
3 ribs celery, cut into 3/4-inch chunks
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon fresh sage, minced or 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon mustard seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and carrots; cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is browned on one side.
Turn chicken and stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 to 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender and chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Pair this chicken with roasted vegetables, rice, and a green salad.
